Martha Duke Woodard

Funeral for Martha Duke Woodard, 91, of Decatur was Friday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Craig Carlisle officiating.
Burial was in Cullman City Cemetery.
Mrs. Woodard died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton. She was born July 5, 1913, in Cullman County to Charles Duke and Lela Hendrix Duke. She was retired as a department manager for Sears and Roebuck in Gadsden. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George Woodard.
She is survived by two sisters, Emma Duke Parker of Hartselle and Betty Duke Suggs of Decatur; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Phillip Parker, Paul Parker, Larry Duke, Mark Parker, Milton Sivley and Lynn Terry.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
