Funeral for Gayle Puckett Lee, 65, of Decatur was Sunday, June 12, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mark Eddy, Lisa Morrow and Jeff Race officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee died Friday, June 10, 2005, at her residence. She was born Feb. 3, 1940, in Morgan County to Ira "Buddy" Puckett and Arvilla Engle Puckett. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Lee of Decatur; one son, Kenneth Lee Hawkins of Falkville; three daughters, Martha Kim Hawkins Brewer of Longwood, Fla., Karen Gayle Lee of Decatur and Kelly Lee McNutt of Somerville; four brothers, Ray Puckett of Omaha, NE, Joe Puckett of Falkville and Lamar Puckett and Freddie Puckett, both of Hartselle; one sister, Hilda Turney of Lakeland, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dwight Taylor, Jr., Tony Skipworth, Keith McNutt, Dwight Taylor, Sr., Perry Haynes and Bobby Haynes, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Hendrix and Timmie Brenner.
