Waymon Truitt McCormick

Funeral for Waymon Truitt McCormick, 74, of Hartselle was Friday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. McCormick died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 12, 1930, in Morgan County to Claude Edward McCormick and Elsie Naomi Moore McCormick. He worked as a sheet metal worker for 40 years. He was a Baptist. Mr. McCormick enjoyed going to Lacon Trade Day and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a sister, Estelle McCormick Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Cox McCormick of Hartselle; three sons, Waylon Delane McCormick and wife Darlene and James "Bo" McCormick and wife Christy, all of Falkville, and Ronald "Bubba" McCormick of Hartselle; three daughters, Belinda McCormick Wray and husband, Rex and Staci McCormick, all of Hartselle and Karen McCormick Suggs and husband, Johnny of Good Hope; two sisters, Gladys McCormick Christian of Neel and Hazel McCormick Parker of Hartselle; 13 grandchildren, Darcie Klocek and husband Ty, Dena Thomason and husband Jeremy, Danielle Teague and husband Michael, Erik Wray, Shelley McCormick, Zaine Suggs, Jacob Wray, Crissy Suggs, Corey Suggs, Allen Suggs, Sawyer McCormick, Caitlin McCormick and Heather McCrary; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Zaine Suggs, Jacob Wray, Corey Suggs, Allen Suggs, Jeremy Thomason, Michael Teague and Ty Klocek.
