Vaughn Booth Pettit

Funeral for Vaughn Booth Pettit, 61, of Hartselle was Saturday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Pettit died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in Madisonville, Ky. He was born Nov. 3, 1943, in Morgan County to John Booth Pettit and Mae Johnson Pettit. He was a cattle rancher. He was a member of New Center Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, J. B. Pettit.
He is survived by one son, Jeff Pettit and wife Michelle of Slaughters, Ky.; his mother, Mae Johnson Pettit of Hartselle; two sisters, Carolyn Hanners of Hartselle and Wanda Classe of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Ashley and Nolan Pettit, both of Slaughters, Ky.; three nieces; three great-nephews; and two great-nieces.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Vest, Ivan Halbrooks, Frank Harrison, Bobby Carl Francis, Sherman Powell Jr. and David Glasscock.
