Funeral for Charles "Red" R. Johnson, 59, of Somerville was Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Holt officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1945, in Morgan County to Harold Johnson and Ruby Dugger Johnson. He was a member of the Plumbers &Steamfitters Local Union No. 377 for 35 years where he served on the executive board.
He is survived by one son, Robert Heath Johnson of Decatur; one daughter, Charlene Renea Johnson of Hartselle; two brothers, Thomas Johnson of Priceville and Fred Johnson of Michigan; two sisters, Linda Barrett of Madison and Sue Steel of Hartselle; and three grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Hunter Driver and Rileigh Anne Johnson.
