Miller, Ferguson exchange vows
Casey Nicole Miller and Zachary Chandler Ferguson, both of Hartselle, were wed Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle with Bro. Johnny Clark officiating.
The bride is the daughter and stepdaughter of Terry and Penny Miller and Beckie and Don Judkins, all of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Byron and Wanda Ferguson of Hartselle.
The church was adorned with red and white roses. The altar featured three candelabras with teardrop globes. The pews were lined with white satin bows and ivy.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal designer gown of Italian satin. The bodice featured rows of French pleats of embroidery, Austrian crystal seed beads, silver and crystal bugle beads. The chapel length train flowed with single French pleats and icicle trim. Her tiara featured Italian beads and crystals. She carried red roses.
Andrea McClain of Vinemont was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Bethany Lusk, Kay Moore, LeAnn Thrasher, and Kirby Harris, all of Hartselle, Alison Kendrick of Morris, and Christine Rabiola of Jasper. They wore two-piece crimson Italian satin dresses with a halter style top and an A-line skirt and carried white calla lilies.
Taylor Miller of Hartselle was flower girl. Landon Robinson of Lacey's Spring was ring bearer.
The groom's father was best man. Groomsmen were Josh Halbrooks, David Gilbert, Nic Norman and Josh Smith, all of Hartselle, Anson King of Taylorsville, Miss., and Travis Downey of Boston, Mass.
Ushers and candlelighters were Brandon Day of Decatur, Steven Crowe of Danville, and Don Judkins of Hartselle.
Music was provided by LeAnn Thrasher of Hartselle.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the ministry center.
The bride's table, covered in a white satin tablecloth with crimson runners, was accented on each side with pewter candelabras and featured a three-tier cake of white and cream cheese fondant with red roses between each tier.
The groom's table, covered in a camouflage tablecloth, had an outdoor theme and featured a three-tier chocolate cake with fruits covering each tier.
Angie Evans, Jami Judkins, Leslie Judkins, Carrie Norman and Anita Lanius assisted with the reception. Doris Milligan was the wedding director.
LeAnn King of Taylorsville, Miss. attended the bride's book.
Jessica O'Neil of Hartselle and Gracie George of Danville were rice girls.
The couple honeymooned in at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. They reside in Hartselle.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom's parents was held March 4 at Salem United Methodist Church.

McKee, Meadows to wed
Steven James and Susan McKee of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Lynn McKee, to Tyde Armstrong Meadows, son of Jim and Sandra Meadows of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2004 graduate of Athens State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed with the Hartselle City School System as a second grade teacher at Barkley Bridge Elementary. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Buckner Strickland of Hartselle, Mr. Theo McKee of Decatur and the late Mrs. Wanda McKee.
The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School and will graduate next summer from the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering and is a senior baseball player. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Parr and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Meadows, all of Hartselle. The wedding will be held June 11 at First Baptist Church in Hartselle.
Eubanks celebrate anniversary
Brian and Sue Eubanks of Massey celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary March 22, 2005. An open house hosted by their children was held at Fairview Church of God on March 26. The Eubanks were married March 22, 1980, at the home of James and Mary Sue Eubanks. Their family includes Brandon and Rachel Eubanks, Benjamin Eubanks and his fianc/e Melanie Mabrey, Brad Eubanks and Barrett Eubanks. The Eubanks would like to thank all those who attended, as well as their parents and everyone who wished them well.
