Louis G. Lanier

Funeral for Louis G. Lanier, 70, of Danville was Monday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Forman and Bro. Don Crumpton officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Lanier died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1934, in Morgan County to Everett Lanier and Berta Hensley Lanier. He retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation in August 1998 after 43-1/2 years as an engineer. He attended Danville High School and Howard College. He was a member of Walden Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Burrough Lanier of Danville; one daughter, Jessica Lanier of Danville; and one brother, Eugene Lanier of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Bill Burrough, Charlie Burrough, Louie Burrough, Alex Burrough, Wendell Burrough, Dwight Burrough and Mickey Burrough.
Honorary pallbearers were brothers-in-law and nephews.
