Sandra Nelson Atchley

Funeral for Sandra Nelson Atchley, 62, of Decatur was Saturday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis E. Sampley and Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Atchley died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was born March 4, 1943, in Lawrence County to Roger Nelson and Mildred Johnson Nelson. She was a retired elementary school secretary with Decatur City Schools. She was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Carl David Atchley of Decatur; two sons, Dr. David Atchley and wife, Alicia, of Enterprise and Kelly Atchley and wife, Dr. Lana Atchley, of Columbus, Ga.; two daughters, Carla Gillette and husband, Kenton, of Hartselle and Ginger Crosson and husband, Gary, of Columbus, Miss.; 11 grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gary Crosson, Kenton Gillette, Ashley Hancock, Eddie Howard, Jimmy Johnson and Steve Johnson.
