HJHS wins Madison County track meet

Hartselle Junior High School boys' track team won the Madison County Invitational with 118 total points.
The Tigers' Steven Crowe won the 1600-meter run, while Marquez Jones took first and Manquez Jones took third in the 100-meter dash.
In the 200-meter dash, they took first and second, respectively.
The 4X100-meter relay team of Jones, Jones, Crowe and Zack Orr took first, while David Summerford took third in the 400 and 800-meter races.
In the 100-hurdles, Stephan Owen won, while Alex Vest took third.
Sam Fleischman won the 300-meter hurdles.
In the girls' events, HJHS's 4X400-meter relay team of Sarah Johnson, Chelsea Maze, Britney Brothers and Allie Shelton took first.
Amber Lumpkin took third in the 400-meter dash, while Maze took second in the 300-meter hurdles. Teammate Shelton finished third.
Hollie Nix took third in the discus, while Shelton won the triple jump.
