Funeral for Edsel Ford Wade, 73, of Double Springs was Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church in Double Springs with Nichols Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Wade died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Birmingham.
He served in the United States Army from 1949 to 1951.
He is survived by his wife, Nellene Wade of Double Springs; two sons, Dale Wade of Double Springs and Michael Wade of Hartselle; three daughters, Jayne Hunter of Cullman, Gloria Nielsen of Forest, Miss. and Michelle Price of Houston; one sister, Doris Wilson of Martinsville, Ind.; and 10 grandchildren.
