Lorraine Alvis Hobaugh Nelson

Funeral for Lorraine Alvis Hobaugh Nelson, 89, of Falkville was Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kerry Cleghorn officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Nelson died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1915, in Cando to George Morrill Hobaugh and Avis Aurora LeBaugh Hobaugh. She was a member of the Falkville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Malin Nelson, whom she married March 23, 1933 and a daughter, Blanche Dale Nelson.
She is survived by four sons, Donald G. Nelson and wife Patricia of Falkville, William F. Nelson and wife Melba of Doniphan, MO, George M. Nelson and wife Vicki of Jacksonville, Fla., and John D. Nelson and wife Cathy of Riverside, Ill; two daughters, Helen E. Nance and husband John of Berwyn, Ill., Faye N. Von Loh and husband George of Falkville; one sister, Lorna Rosen and husband Reinhold of Greeley, CO; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were George Von Loh, Spencer Nelson, Wesley Von Loh and Mark Wager.
