Gerald O'Rourke

Memorial Mass for Gerald O'Rourke, 73, of Hartselle was Saturday, Feb. 5, at noon at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur with Father Joseph Culotta officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. O'Rourke died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 18, 1931, in Trevorton, Pa., to William O'Rourke and Catherine Braubitz O'Rourke. He was a member of Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Rita O'Rourke of Hartselle; one son, John W. O'Rourke of Hartselle; one daughter, Tracy A. Drane and husband, Allen, of Hartselle; three grandsons, David Drane, John Drane and Daniel Drane, all of Hartselle; two brothers, James O'Rourke and John O'Rourke, both of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Ellen Stockert of South Carolina, Catherine Kobel and Marie Lucas, both of Pennsylvania.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or to Catholic Charities.
