Hartselle wins coin flip, will host area tournament

The Hartselle Lady Tigers will host the 5A, Area 16 girl's basketball tournament after winning a coin flip on Monday with area co-champion Athens.
Hartselle will host the tourney beginning Feb. 10 at the Petty Center.
The night's opening game will feature the Lady Tigers meeting the Lady Trojans of Muscle Shoals High School at 6:30 p.m.
The following game will feature the regular season co-champs Lady Golden Eagles of Athens against the Lady Golden Tigers of Russellville.
The winners will meet Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. for the right to host a sub-state playoff game the following week.
