Funeral for Lloyd M. Moore, 87, of Hartselle was Saturday, Dec. 18, at 11:30 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with his nephew, Austin Moore Jr., officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Moore died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at his residence. He was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Lawrence County to James Purvis Moore and Etta Henry Moore. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was preceded in death by two brothers, V. O. and Austin Moore; and two sisters, Gladys Ferguson and Pansy Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Morrow Moore of Hartselle; two daughters, Dorcas Moore Bradford of Trinity and Connie Moore Bowen of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; two grandchildren, Scott Bradford and Amanda Crabtree; and two great-grandchildren, Matt Bradford and Griffin Crabtree.
Pallbearers were Ron Abercrombie, Keith Abercrombie, Ed Pruitt, James Bradford, Thom Bowen and Scott Bradford.
Honorary pallbearer was Alvin Abercrombie.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
