Martha Novelee Clemons

Funeral for Martha Novelee Clemons, 83, of Hartselle was Sunday, Dec. 12, at 2:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. C. G. Reding and Wayne Penn officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Clemons died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Morgan County to William Jackson Riley and Lowell Lucille Grantland Riley. She was a lifetime member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. She was employed at Wal-Mart for 15 years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy W. Clemons of Hartselle; four daughters, Roma Hartman and Mary Sue Callahan, both of Hartselle, Shelby Higdon of Decatur and Patsy Gilliand of Hartselle; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bruce Hartman, Brian Hartman, Duston Steel, Keith Callahan, Ken Callahan, Kevin Callahan and Chris Higdon.
