Funeral for Troy L. Payne, 73, of Falkville was Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mr. Payne died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at Floyd "Tutt" Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville. He was born May 24, 1931, in Morgan County. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, where he served in the US Army on the USS Hope as a Medic.
He is survived by his wife, Madilene (Stinson) Payne of Falkville; three daughters, Donna Goodwin of Falkville, Sherry Edgeton of Arlington, Va. and Charlotte Crawford of Greenbrier, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
