Funeral for JoAnn Kirby, 68, of Hartselle was Saturday, Dec. 4, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Foreman officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirby passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at her residence. She was born April 29, 1936, to Robert Clifton Dumas and Eddie Bell Dumas. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one sister, Iris Walters.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Kirby of Hartselle; one daughter, Ann King of Hartselle; one granddaughter, Melisha Eddy Elscott of Kansas; one great-grandson, Robert Dale Elscott of Kansas; one brother, Hollis "Sonny" Dumas and wife Irene of Hartselle; nephew, Eugene Walters and wife Carlene of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Paul Glenn Dumas, Raymond Dumas, Jackie Truett, Charles Thompson, Tim Holt and Kevin Robinson.
