Funeral for Marlon T. Holmes, 52, of Somerville was Friday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harlon Hood officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.
Mr. Holmes died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at his residence. He was born Dec. 24, 1951, in Morgan County to Frank Holmes and Eve Mae Murphy Holmes.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Martha West of Somerville; three daughters, Amanda Selby Holmes of Decatur, and Vicky Holmes and Connie Holmes, both of Somerville; one brother, Myron Holmes of Somerville; six sisters, Ellen Holmes of Somerville; Jo Shaddrix and Becky Baggett, both of Trinity, Lisa Holmes and Tammy Holmes, both of Decatur and Christine Hankins of Falkville; and nieces, Janice Allen, Cynthia Holmes and Brandy Holmes.
Pallbearers were Ryan Tokars, Wayne Selby, DeWayne Shaddrix, Dwight Selby, Ken Selby, Craig Stinson and Randall Stinson.
