Holmes, Rowe exchange vows
Mandy Leigh Holmes of Hartselle and Paul Albert Rowe IV of Falkville were wed June 26, 2004 at 3 p.m. at Fairview Church of God with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Cindy Baker of Hartselle and the late Randy Holmes. The groom is the son of Paul and Frances Rowe III of Falkville.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother and stepfather, wore a formal designer gown of Japanese satin. The bodice combined a rounded waist and was embellished with caviar beading creating and intricate flower motif on the bodice, skirt and chapel length train. A rhinestone encrusted tiara held the veil. Her bouquet featured yellow roses carried in memory of her father.
Julie Wilkins of Falkville was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Tina Orton of Warrior, Sallye Roberts of Falkville, sister of the groom, Julie Steenson of Falkville, and Shandy Thompson of Hartselle.
Brecken Steenson of Falkville was junior bridesmaid.
Bridal attendants wore black A-line gowns and carried bouquets of mixed white flowers.
Alexis Steenson of Falkville was flower girl. Weston Baker of Hartselle, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.
The groom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Brad McReath of Hartselle, Jason Steenson, Matt Tapscott and Josh Wilkins, all of Falkville.
Aaron Baker of Hartselle, brother of the bride, was junior groomsman.
Music was provided by vocalist Todd Coots, vocalist Patsy Coots, and pianist Monica Higginbotham of Hartselle.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Quail Creek Conference Center.
The bride's table featured a three layered white cake topped with different variations of yellow roses.
The groom's table featured a two layered cake topped with green apples, limes and greenery.
Wendi Henry was wedding director. Barbara Dekich, Christal Dekich, Amber Copeland, Jessica Lawrimore, Heather Griffith, Emily Gover, Lauren Gover and Katie Byrd assisted with the reception.
Jamie Cruce of Hartselle attended the bride's book.
Amy Anders and Aladee Thompson, both of Hartselle, were bubble girls.
The couple honeymooned at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Mo. They will reside in Falkville.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom's parents was held June 25 at Quail Creek Conference Center.
A bride's luncheon hosted by Genny Williams and Sallye Roberts was held June 24 at the home of Genny Williams.

Raina Dawn Craft of Pelham and David Lee Brown of Hartselle were wed Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at 4 p.m. at The Wedding Chapel in Huntsville with Bro. Phillip Hines officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Regina Sutton Burnham of Pelham and James H. Craft of Decatur. The groom is the son of Jimmy D. and Pamela S. Brown of Hartselle.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless and white satin bodice A-line style dress, which featured a left swoop waistline. Her headpiece was a double-layered veil trimmed with satin and accented by a pearl and diamond tiara. She wore a pearl necklace and earrings.
Her bouquet featured 18 red, hot pink and orange short-stem roses. Wendy L. Clemons of Hartselle was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Maria Powell of Madison, Allison Hanback Jett of Tuscaloosa, and Crissey Valdario Watkins of Birmingham. Attendants wore apple red dress styles of their choice.
The groom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Rodney Eddy of Huntsville, Randall Wilson of Decatur, and Travis Burnham of Brooklyn, N.Y. Groomsmen wore black jackets and apple red long ties and vests.
Piano music was provided by The Wedding Chapel.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the chapel's Magnolia Room.
The bride's table featured a three-tier white cake topped at each level with red, hot pink and orange roses to match the bride's bouquet.
The groom's table featured a chocolate cake topped with chocolate roses, as well as dishes of chocolate covered strawberries.
