Funeral for Bertie M. Price, 82, of Danville was Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Caddo Cemetery.
Mrs. Price died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1921, in Lawrence County to Benjamin Albert Rose and Geneva Nolan Terry Rose. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of Charles Herbert Price.
She is survived by one son, Ben Price of Humble, Tex.; two daughters, Scharlotte McAbee of Danville and Deb Rhodes of Richmond, Tex.; one brother, Grady Rose of Town Creek; two sisters, Dorothy Sellers and Shirley Brackin, both of Decatur; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randy McAbee, Jason McAbee, Brandon Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, Ronnie Edney and Kenneth Moats.
