Funeral for Vivian E. Carnell, 75, of Hartselle was Saturday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. T. Reynolds Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Carnell died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at her residence. She was born April 10, 1929, in Morgan County to James Coleman Brown and Lula Mae Turney Brown. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a former member of Dixie Baptist Church in Clarkston, Mich. She was preceded in death by two sons, Mike Carnell and Nolan Carnell.
She is survived by her husband, John Edward Carnell of Hartselle; two sons, Jim Carnell and John L. Carnell, both of Hartselle; three brothers, Roy Brown of Birmingham, Hershell Brown of Danville and Wayne D. Brown of Florence; one sister, Ruby Starky of Falkville; four grandchildren, James Carnell, Cassie Wynn, Brittney Carnell and Brandon Carnell; and two great grandchildren, Roman and Gabriel Carnell.
Pallbearers were Jim Carnell, John L. Carnell, James Carnell, Brian Wynn, Mark Lucas and Bud Lucas.
