Making a good first impression

What does your home say about you? According to results from a recent survey commissioned by a discount clothing and home story found throughout North Alabama.
According to the survey, the appearance of your home or living space can have a dramatic affect on how others view you.
Caravan conducted the study on behalf of Marshall's. The study covered how the appearance of someone's home can change your opinion of that person. Of the six choices, the highest percentage of respondents named lack of organization or clutter as the most determining opinion-changing factor.
The study showed the determining factors as:
"I'm not surprised clutter was the most determining factor," Marshall's home style expert Jean DeBarge-Goonan said. "But what is surprising is the number of homeowners who don't realize that solutions to this problem are affordable and easy, with a couple of helpful guidelines."
