Funeral for Mary Annie Pettus, 90, of Hartselle was Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. W. Vickers officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Pettus died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 24, 1914, in Lauderdale County to Robert Lee Hammond and Mary Bergin Hammond. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pettus was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus H. Pettus.
She is survived by one daughter, Sara Logue of Hartselle; one son, Don Pettus and wife Pat of Hartselle; one brother, Robert Linden Hammond and wife Reba of Florence; two grandsons, Mark McClanahan and wife Kristi of Newnan, Ga. and Patrick Pettus and wife Veronica of Decatur; two granddaughters, Christy Pettus Stinson and husband Travis of Helena and Valerie Rivers and husband Joe of Hartselle; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark McClanahan, Scott McClanahan, Patrick Pettus, Travis Stinson, Joe Rivers and Clay Osborne.
