James Tony Ozbolt

Funeral for James Tony Ozbolt, 79, of Decatur will be Thursday, April 1, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Tanner officiating.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery with Masonic Honors.
Mr. Ozbolt died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1925, in Morgan County to Frank Ozbolt and Ara Lee Holmes Ozbolt. He was a member of the Gandy's Cove United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Dunes Lodge #741, F. &A.M. in Portage, Ind. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Merchant Marines. Mr. Ozbolt was retired from U.S. Steel where he worked as a supervisor and was a member of the U.S. Steel Supervisors Club. He was active and enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Connie Ruth Ozbolt; a brother, Bill Ozbolt; and two sisters, Josephine Joskviak and Mary Choil.
He is survived by his wife, Reba Lawrence Ozbolt of Decatur; two sons, Robert Ozbolt and wife Judy and James R. Ozbolt and wife Diane, all of Portage, Indiana; one brother, Johnny Ozbolt of Plainfield, Ill.; five grandchildren, Ronald Ozbolt and wife Charlotte, Michael Ozbolt and wife Lisa, Jenny Mitschelen and husband Chris, Jodie Ozbolt and Bobby Ozbolt; seven great grandchildren, Dylan Ozbolt, Cole Ozbolt, Addison Ozbolt, Zachary Ozbolt, Beth Anne Ozbolt, Bailey Mitschelen and Griffin Mitschelen.
Pallbearers will be Ron Ozbolt, Michael Ozbolt, Bob Ozbolt, Daryl Ford, Allen Teague and Chris Mitschelen.
