Glenn 'Buck' Lipscomb

A graveside service for Glenn "Buck" Lipscomb, 79, of Hartselle was Friday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at Shoal Creek Cemetery with the Rev. C. G. Reding officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Lipscomb died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at his residence. He was born Oct. 28, 1924, in Morgan County to Preston Nathaniel Lipscomb and Mary Elizabeth Dean Lipscomb. He was a retired maintenance manager for Spencer Oil. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Lipscomb of Hartselle; one son, Jeffory Lipscomb of Hartselle; one daughter, Janis Garner of Hartselle; one brother, Odie Lipscomb of New Market, Virginia; two sisters, Mary King of Huntsville and Mamie Thornton of Colesville, Md.; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family.
