Paul Knighten

Funeral for Paul Knighten, 83, of Decatur, was Saturday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Jerry Knighten, Paul Ellis Knighten and Robert Lee officiating.
Burial was in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Knighten died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at his residence. He was born April 11, 1920, in Morgan County to Jerry M. Knighten Sr. and Martha Zona Leeth Knighten. He was retired from Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q in Huntsville.
He is survived by three sons, Jerry Knighten and wife Betsy and Paul Ellis Knighten and wife Melissa, all of Priceville, and Lee Evans of Decatur; one brother, R. Q. Knighten of Powder Springs, Ga.; two sisters, Bulamae Terry of Town Creek and Chesteen Lewis of Texas; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Cullman County.
