Robert 'H. L.' Peak

Funeral for Robert "H. L." Peak, 76, of Falkville was Sunday, Jan. 4, at 3 p.m. at Roundtop Community Church, with the Rev. Chris Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.
Mr. Peak died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at his residence. He was born April 9, 1927, in Cullman County to Kimsey Peak and Alice Ward Wilson Peak. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a Freewill Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Peak of Falkville; one son, Jerry E. Peak of Falkville; one daughter, Hazel Lee Carden of Hartselle; one brother, Thomas Peak of Hanceville; two sisters, Maudie Harris of Falkville and Pearlie Flippin of Cullman; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eric Carden, Christopher Carden, Rodney Bradford, Christopher Gillespie, Jackie Wilson and Johnny Cobb.
