Plainview class of 1957 reunites
The 1957 ninth grade graduating class of Plainview Jr. High School, now Sparkman School, gathered for a Christmas reunion Dec. 19 at the home of Reba Taylor.
Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Roy McCurry, Shirley Maples, Mr. and Mrs. Curly Burns, Mary Sue Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hanners, Carolyn Pettit, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Shelton, Mattie Ruth Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hopper, Reba Vest Taylor and guest Lamar Atkins. Those not attending were David Kent, Wendell Eddy, Martha Gail Maples Turney and Roland Webster (deceased).
