Edith Hogan Kidd

Funeral for Edith Hogan Kidd, 84, of Hartselle was Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scotty Hogan officiating.
Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Kidd died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals. She was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Lawrence County to Astor Heard and Belle Johnson Heard. She was a member of Andrews Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin A. Hogan and two brothers, Joel Heard and Thomas Heard.
She is survived by her husband, J. W. Kidd of Hartselle; two sons, Alvin F. Hogan of San Antonio, Tex. and Paul W. Hogan of Trinity; one daughter, Martha Bremer of Madison; one brother, Bobby Heard of Hartselle; two sisters, Roma Dumaris of Hollywood, Fla. and Mildred Hunter of Double Springs; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wendell Callahan, Hal McCaghren, Jesse Bankston, Kenneth Johnson, Mike Flies and Carl Jarrett.
