Funeral for Bernice England, 84, of Falkville was Saturday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Andrews officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. England died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born October 31, 1919, in Morgan County to William Eugene Hartselle and Elizabeth Hartselle. She was a member of the Cedar Plains Church and was the widow of Edward England and the grandmother of the late Michael Griffith.
She is survived by one son, Ricky England of Falkville; one daughter, Betty Griffith of Hartselle; one step son, Mark England of Falkville; two step daughters, Jo Ann Bell of Danville and Paulette Stimmel of Falkville; four sisters, Ester Callahan of Kentucky and Mamie King, Mary Sparkman and Dorothy Kirby, all of Hartselle; two granddaughters; two step granddaughters; two great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
Pallbearers were Kermit King, Kenneth King, Scott King, Marion McAbee, Guy Terry and Johnny Cobb.
