A graveside service for Robert P. Hager Sr., 83, of Eva, was Friday, Dec. 19, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Lexington, Ky., at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Clyde Ledlow and David Welsh officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hager died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at his residence. He was a member of Christian Church (Hillsdale) in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born May 23, 1920, in Kentucky to Samuel Hager and Dora Ann Copenhaver. He was a store manager for Begley Drug Co.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby D. Underwood Hager of Eva; one son Robert P. Hager Jr. and wife Patricia; three grandchildren, Robert P. Hager III, Jennifer Burke and Tanya Bayliss; and two great grandchildren, Katherine Bayliss and Emma Burke.
Pallbearers were Robert P. Hager, III, Chris Burke, George Day, Charles Underwood, Glenn Perry and David Perry.
