Funeral for Bobby Lee Carter, 71, of Decatur was Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Berry and Curtis Stanford officiating.
Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Carter died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at his residence. He was born June 21, 1932, in Morgan County to L. Carter and Virginia Marsh Carter. He was a retired machine operator at Wolverine Tube.
He is survived by his wife, Eva O. Carter of Decatur; two daughters, Kathy Sue Tindell of Decatur and Virginia Tate of Huntsville; one sister, Billy Dean Morgan of Brooket, Ga.; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Johnson, Tim Cook, John Cook, Ben May, Michael Beckham and Chuck Tindell.
