Marvin Earl Loney

A graveside service for Marvin Earl Loney, 77, of Huntsville was Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. at Burningtree Cemetery in Decatur with Dr. Ed Hampton officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Loney died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 8, 1926, in Depoy, Ky., to John Jefferson Loney and Lois McCown Loney. He retired from ConAgra in 1987 as a millwright. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by four sons, Kevin Loney and wife Martha of Hartselle, Sherman Loney and wife Sharie of Birmingham, Ronnie Loney and wife Sharon of Lodi, Calif. and Jaime Loney and wife Carla of Stedman, N.C.; three sisters, Marjorie Todd of Melvindale, Mich., Mary Jo Rhoads of Clarksville, Tenn. and Donna Woodall and husband Ron of Greenville, Ky.; one brother, Jon Loney and wife Linda of Knoxville; and nine grandchildren, John Loney, Corey Loney, Greg Loney, Krista Loney, John-Erik Loney, Brandon Loney, Stacey Loney, Joshua Loney and Sammie Jo Loney.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
