Funeral for Louise G. Waddell, 73, of Hartselle was Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. at Pattillo Street Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Irwin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Waddell died Thursday, Nov. 20. 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center She was born March 24, 1930, in Morgan County to John Alton Griffith and Mary Elizabeth Williams Griffith. She had worked at Pineview Hospital and was retired from Hartselle Hospital as a nurse. She was a member of Pattillo Street Church of God. Mrs. Waddell was the widow of Leon Waddell.
She is survived by two sons, Donald L. Waddell and David L. Waddell, both of Hartselle; one daughter, Kathy D. Phillips of Hartselle; two brothers, John Griffith Jr. and Charlie Griffith, both of Hartselle; three sisters, Geneva Griffith, Jessie Hill and Dorothy Partain, all of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
