Funeral for Jimmy Ray Johnson, Sr., 58, of Decatur will be Thursday (today), Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd West officiating.
Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, at his residence. He was born December 16, 1944, in Jefferson County to Homer Rosevelt Johnson and Florence Elizabeth Blankenship Johnson. He was a power plant operator for General Electric.
He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Lee Johnson and Jimmy Ray Johnson, Jr., both of Hartselle; his mother, Florence Elizabeth Moebes of Decatur; and three grandchildren.
