Charter Communications subject of Oct. 14 public hearing

If you've got something to say about the performance of Charter Cable, you will soon get your chance.
Hartselle's City Council is holding a public hearing Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers regarding Charter Cable. The council is currently negotiating its contact with the cable provider and comments are sought about the past performance of Charter, as well as the city's future needs.
According to city officials, the hearing will be used to learn more about the number of available channels, reception quality, customer service, local community programming and other issues of public interest.
