Funeral for Roy D. Williams, 79, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey A. Coots officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. William died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at Bolivar Hospital. He was born December 12, 1923, in Alabama. He was a veteran of the Army. He was the father of the late John Paul Williams and Jimmy Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Harrison Williams of Hartselle; two sons, Charles Williams of Falkville and Sheryl Williams of Ripley, Tenn; one daughter, Alice Ann Dutton of Falkville; one sister, Tearbell Fortner of Falkville; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Harrison, Ray Williams, Gurney Williams, David Niles, William Niles and Ray Warren.
