David Grady Dyer

Funeral for David Grady Dyer, 68, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery # 1 at Double Springs with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Dyer died Saturday, Aug. 30, at his residence. He was born March 16, 1935 in Winston County to Marion Taylor Dyer and Josie Pruitt. He was a retired Navy veteran and served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Hartselle Holy Church of Christ. He was the father of the late David L. Dyer and the brother of the late John W. Dyer, Charles M. Dyer, Lyndal Stewart and Dorothy McArrell.
He is survived by his wife, Martha R. Dyer of Hartselle; one son, Samuel T. Dyer of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two daughters, Debra R. Barnett and Alice J. Shull, both of Hartselle; one sister, Lucy Brunson of Mobile; and six grandchildren, Chuck, Mary, Stephen, Sarah, Grady and Elisabeth.
