Daphyne K. Martin

Funeral for Daphyne K. Martin of Decatur will be Thursday (today), Aug. 28, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sandra Locke-Godbey officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born September 13, 1930 in Town Creek to Porter Kimbrell and Ora Cantrell Kimbrell
She was a switchboard operator and receptionist at North Alabama Regional Hospital.
She was the mother of the late Thomas B. Martin.
She is survived by two sons, Buddy Martin and Charles Lee Martin, both of Decatur; three daughters, Pat Duncan of Montgomery, Scarlet Guyse of Decatur and Treva Minor of Hartselle; one brother, J.P. Kimbrell of Dunwoody, Ga.; one sister, Jerrie Crosswhite of Muscle Shoals; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carlton Guyse, Carter Guyse, Michael Minor, Joe Duncan, Andrew Martin and Richard Jackson.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Valley.
