Buena G. Martin

A graveside service for Buena G. Martin, 92, of Falkville was Friday, Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. at Herring Cemetery with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Martin died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was born December 19, 1910, in Morgan County to John Walker Gibson and Mary Emily Speegle Gibson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartselle. She was a long time resident of Greensboro; however, had lived in Hartselle for the past 15 years.
She is survived by two sons, James E. Martin of Hartselle and John L. Martin, Sr. of Tuscaloosa; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michel E. Martin, William R. Martin, John L. Martin, Jr., Lamar E. Martin, Darren R. Richmond and Paul C. Freeman, Jr.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Hartselle.
