Sherman L. Burch

Funeral for Sherman L. Burch, 63, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 8, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry DeBell officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Burch died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003. He was born Aug. 25, 1939, in Morgan County to John David Burch and Mary Savannah Limly Burch. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a former principal of Hazelwood High School and a former football coach at Danville High School.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Burch of Hartselle; three sons, Bruce Burch and Joseph Burch, both of Hartselle and Phillip Burch of Louisville, Ky.; one brother, John Burch; five sisters, Helen Fuller, Jean Thompson, Janice Nations, Eula Vaughn and Judy Huddleston; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Owens, Jimmy Owens, Gary Fuller, Charles Nations, Larry Bishop and Jeff Norwood.
Honorary pallbearers were former players and students.
