Duo planning spring trip to Spain

Hartselle residents Mary Yarbrough and Kaye Clemons have been traveling together since 1995. The pair became acquainted that year on a trip coordinated by a mutual friend to five European countries.
Yarbrough and Clemons enjoyed the adventure so much, they continued traveling together and now coordinate trips for friends and family.
At last count, the travelers had visited 12 countries and are now planning their seventh trip, this time to Spain, for spring 2004.
Both Yarbrough and Clemons enjoy seeing places most only read about, experiencing different cultures, and making new friends.
"Anyone who is interested can go, so we do not necessarily know everyone on the trip well," Clemons said. "However, by the time the planning sessions are completed we are somewhat acquainted.
"After traveling together for 10 to 12 days, we have become great friends."
Yarbrough said the group even has a picture party when they return to share pictures, but mostly to have an excuse to get together again.
Anyone interested in the upcoming trip to Spain, or any other trip, call 773-5669 or 773-2170 for more information.
