Local student earns award
Several University of Alabama College of Engineering students recently won awards at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Regional Student Conference in Miami. Included in the awards was Destin Sandlin, a Priceville resident and senior majoring in mechanical engineering. He received the award for best technical presentation in his division for "Threaded Assembly in Microgravity."
Brewer gears up for fall classes
A.P. Brewer High School students may pick up class schedules and purchase lockers for $8 on the following dates:
HHS class of 1993 to reunite
The Hartselle High School Class of 1993 will hold its 10-year reunion Saturday, Sept. 13. Cost is $35 per person and is due by Aug. 25. Please send payment to: Hartselle Class of 1993, Kendra H.
