James Hancil Cooper

Funeral for James Hancil Cooper, 70, of Hartselle was Wednesday, July 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Cooper died Sunday, July 13, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born June 29, 1933, in Tennessee to Druie Jones Cooper and Mexico Morgan Cooper.
He was a retired carpenter who worked in residential construction.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cooper.
He is survived by five sons, Larry Cooper of Massey, Kerry Cooper of Decatur, Tommy Cooper, Mark Cooper and Ricky Cooper, all of Hartselle; three daughters, Judy Lindley of Moulton, Vickie Luke of Hartselle and Marie Cooper of Huntsville; 22 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joey Cooper, Ricky D. Cooper, James Scott, Chris Scott, Shawn Scott and Thomas Cooper.
Honorary pallbearers were Jason Luke, Jamie Cooper, Jordan Cooper, Josh Cooper, Nichalso Cooper, William Jackson, Cody Cooper, Chad Copper and Logan Jackson.
