Vera Arlene Sivley

Funeral for Vera Arlene Sivley, 82, of Somerville was Sunday, July 6, at 2 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Vandon Windsor officiating.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Sivley died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville. She was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Morgan County to Thomas C. Dunaway and Dooma Lynn Dunaway.
She was a lifetime member of Center Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe L. Sivley.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Rudolph Sivley of Somerville; one daughter, Vera Nell Steelman of Somerville; one daughter-in-law, Linda J. Sivley of Somerville; two brothers, Billy Joe Dunaway of Decatur and Gilbert Dunaway of Valhermoso Springs; two sisters, Ina Johnston and Dorothy Watkins, both of Somerville; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Her nephews served as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
