Clara Eulala Morrison

Funeral for Clara Eulala Morrison of Hartselle was Tuesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Blackman officiating.
Burial was in Fairview West Cemetery in Hanceville.
Mrs. Morrison died June 21, 2003, after a 12-year battle with breast cancer. She was the first president of the North Alabama Regional Alcoholism Council in Cullman covering Lawrence, Limestone, Morgan and Cullman counties. She became a social worker for the state of Alabama in 1981 and retired after 11 years when she was diagnosed with cancer in 1992. Although her profession required her to help others, she always helped anyone whenever she saw an opportunity.
She is survived by one daughter, A. Suzanne Morrison of Hartselle; her mother, Lula Quick; two sisters, Mayola Robertson and Deborah Brown, both of Hanceville; one nephew; three nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
