    Legg, Tucker exchange vows
Jana Brooke Legg of Hartselle and Joseph Michael Tucker of Hartselle were married June 14, 2003 at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Decatur.
Rev. Buddy Champion and Rev. Jimmy Legg, father of the bride, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Diane Legg of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Joe and Ann Tucker of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a formal gown of ivory Duchess satin. The strapless gown was designed with a diagonal pattern of tucks creating the molded bodice. The soft skirt of satin fell from the natural waistline and swirled to an asymmetrical wrap with an underskirt of beaded re-embroidered Alencon lace. It swept to a semi-cathedral train and was delicately adorned with lace appliques. Her royal veil of imported French tulle was adorned with crystal and held by a matching bridal bandeau. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of Anna and Eliza roses, protea, and dendrobium orchids. The stems were wrapped and tied with off-white sheer French ribbon.
Dena Mayfield of Hartselle was matron of honor. Whitney Wren of Hartselle was maid of honor.
Michelle Conover, sister of the groom, of Hartselle, Brandi Moore of Hartselle, Cynthia Livingston of Hartselle, and Alisha Lovelady of Clayton, N.C. were bridesmaids.
Ella Pitman of Decatur was flower girl. Wesley Conover of Hartselle was ring bearer.
Joe Tucker, father of the groom, of Hartselle was the best man.
Heath Legg, brother of the bride, of Hartselle, Jason Pitman of Decatur, Wayne Phillips of Palm Coast, Fla., Chris Howard of Decatur, and Brad Parsons of Birmingham were groomsmen.
Music was provided by soloist Lance Pate of Decatur, pianist Terry Moore of Decatur, and organist Elizabeth Carter of Decatur.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
Wedding coordinator was Teresa Letson. Jeanette Aycock, Nancy Speegle, Miria Upton, Joan Grantland, and Linda Wren assisted with the reception.
Barkley Aycock of Birmingham attended the bride's book.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica. They will reside in Hartselle.
The couple was honored with several pre-nuptial events, including:
    Smith, Carden wed May 25
Ashley Lauren Smith of Madison and Michael Brandon Carden of Decatur were married May 25 at 4:30 p.m. at Madison United Methodist Church.
Rev. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Smith of Madison. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Carden of Decatur.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Christine Rogers was maid of honor.
Samantha Adams was flower girl. Jeffret Emens was the best man. Wesley Lewis and Chad Fagen were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Marriott.
A rehearsal party was given by the groom's parents at the Madison Street Caf.
After a brief wedding trip, the couple will live in Madison.
    Wallace, Watson wed March 28
Lara Jo Wallace of Hartselle and Matthew Clay Watson of Hartselle were married March 28 at 7 p.m. at East Highland Baptist Church.
Bro. Walter Blackman officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Susan Wallace of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Marc and Rene' Watson of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The church and altar were decorated with white and yellow daisies and Jackson ivy.
The bride wore an antique ivory gown of satin and silk with long beaded and pearled sleeves, featuring a fitted pearl bodice with a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train with beading and pearl applique adorning the edge. Her headpiece was a sheer ivory lace veil with pearl accents on the headband. Her bouquet featured white and yellow daisies, white roses and Jackson ivy tied with a white ribbon and lain on a small Bible. The bouquet was an exact replica of the bouquet her mother carried at her wedding.
Beth Wallace of Hartselle was maid of honor.
Lacey Watson and Mandy Johnson, both of Hartselle, were bridesmaids.
Savannah Wallace and Carrington Standridge, both of Hartselle, were flower girls.
