Ruby Pauline "Polly" Vest

Funeral for Ruby Pauline "Polly" Vest, 89, of Hartselle was Sunday, June 8, at 2 p.m. at Moss Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. Stephen W. Kelso and Ray Shubert officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Vest died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 26, 1913, in Morgan County to Barto Atkins and Mary Moss Atkins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Moss Chapel United Methodist Church and worked at the Goodyear Mill in Decatur for 32 years.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Vest; one daughter, Patsy Jo Lott and husband Wayne Lott of Decatur; two grandsons, Stephen W. Kelso of East Lawrence and Tony Kelso of Oak Ridge; and four great grandchildren, Jeff Kelso, Thomas Kelso, Emily Kelso and Micheal Kelso.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great grandsons.
