David "Sandman" Spriggs

A graveside service for David "Sandman" Spriggs, 51, of Falkville was Saturday, June 7, at 1 p.m. at Bell Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Herbert Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Spriggs died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1952 in Virginia to Charles Spriggs and Lena Widner Spriggs.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Spriggs of Falkville; four sons, Curtis Spriggs of Falkville, David Spriggs and Charles Spriggs, both of Dade City, Fla., Jamie Spriggs of Lakeland, Fla.; four brothers, Charles Richard Spriggs of Telford, Tenn.; Chester Lee Spriggs of Dade City, Fla., Daniel T. Spriggs of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Vernon Allen Spriggs of Falkville; one half brother, Orville Windel Spriggs of Detroit, Mich; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Lee, Michael Lee, Joe Walker, Ray Strickland, Dion Brown and Danny Hudgins.
