Carolyn McHan Hogan

Funeral for Carolyn McHan Hogan, 55, of Hartselle was Tuesday, June 3, at West Hartselle Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Ripley and the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hogan died Friday, May 30, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1948, in Cullman County to Thaddeus Doyle McHan and Maxine King McHan. She taught third and fourth grade at Danville-Neel Elementary School. Mrs. Hogan was Morgan County Teacher of the Year in 1997. She was a member of Decatur Baptist Church. She was the widow of Wayne Hugh Hogan.
She is survived by one son, Jonathan Mark Hogan of Hartselle; one daughter, Susan Alane Hogan of Hartselle; her mother, Maxine King McHan of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; three sisters, Patricia Tillis of Jacksonville, Fla., Rita Richardson of Naples, Fla., and Tami McCormack of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Pallbearers were Brandon Shaneyfelt, Jeff Woodruff, Bobby Gordon, Dusty Higdon, Jeremy Ripley, Chris Johnson, Brian Johnson and Randy Copeland.
Memorials gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Gideon Bibles in lieu of flowers.
